Do you have a regular bed time? Is it hard to concentrate at school? Do you (or your children) have problems with behavior? If so, there is a recent study that shows a strong relationship between children going to bed at regular times and their behavior.
The study found a strong relationship between how children behaved and varying bedtimes. Getting into a healthy sleep routine is a matter of changing your daily habits. A few steps you can take: 1) Start a bedtime routine; 2) Shut off electronics at the same time each night (TV's, video games, phones); and 3) Turn down the lights, darkness is your body's natural cue for going to sleep.
